A blanket thrown across
the sky
scatterings of white
glowing
more occurring
the more you look.
For the first time
constellations
are clear
sometimes things like this
can make you feel small
wonder why you're here
but this once
it's not powerless
but majestic.
You're part of it
not in control
but if you feel as small
as a star in the night
the bigger picture
is still being added to.
