Regrets and Maybes.

Regret bites at the heart 
as I wish that we 
could be together 
and you put your arms
around me
like you do with her.


Maybe we couldn't 
of been anything
at all 
but now I can't help
thinking 
that we would 
of been good.


But it's too late. 


I don't know what I'd
tell you
had I been given 
the chance
maybe nothing at all
so my words here
will have to do
I think
that maybe,

I could of loved you.

My leavers ball is today o.o

Nearly time

to close the book
mark the page
for when I want 
a second look

Saying goodbye 

to this time

and embracing,

preparing

to face the next step.

Growing up
older,
certainly
wiser
maybe
maturer,
not so sure. 


I suppose 
we'll dance
our cares away. 

Teen

Youth is the best time of our lives 
we can be reckless
not have to think
be chained down
we're free. 


Am I doing myself justice?
I drink
laugh
smile
dance
walk barefoot 
feel the sun
taste
try to find something new


I hope I can look back 
without regret
who knows?
Maybe the best
is yet
to come.
