This is my resolution for 2011 - to post a poem on here every day. I'm not saying it's the next Shakespeare. It's just me. I take no credit for most pictures featured unless they're the ones from my own camera.

Rhyming Words Association (RWA)
Most of my poems have been quite a similar style the past few days so thought I would try and do something different. Only flaw in this, I don't know how! I'm not really an expert in different forms of poetry...
Break
away
take
(seize)
the day
sunshine
sky
time
clock
tick tock
hand
stand
feet
street
grey
day
break
away.
Pretty much had the idea as I wrote, one word then what reminds me of that word and tried to make it rhyme. If that doesn't make sense just ask in a comment and I'll try and explain it better :')

Sunshine Wine
Just a quick one since I need to leave soon
Sunshine
like wine
for the skin
tasteful
relaxing
too much
it goes unappreciated
to waste
a little
every so often
you get the right taste
and sink
into a lovely
state of mind.

Peace (The Body Has Time)
The sunshine is wonderful for inspiration :) I wrote 3 poems today, which I've never done while I've been doing this. To make life easier for me though, I'll post them over 3 days. As you'll tell by my next poem, I'm feeling pretty mellow today.... despite work load!
It's a mood when the body has time
the pulse slows
the senses take in more
rather than the brain telling them
to ssshh and get on with working.
The feel of bare feet on grass
a bee buzzing
running a hand through the the pond
child like
refreshing none the less
just how green a budding leaf
really is
and the smell of sap on fingers
after a closer look at it.
Overloaded
not with worries or stress
but ideas
brimming
swimming
underneath the skin
once thoughts are silenced
and the body has time.
