Always want to buy
something
the next thing
the better thing
but not everything
just what you want
what you need
Not needed to be happy
for they say that
the best things in life are free,
laughing
family
smiles
friends
hugs
sunshine
the smell of cut grass
love
But really
most likely
everybody wants
some more money.
Yes, the last verse is meant to be smaller.
why the last verse meant to be smaller?
ReplyDeletebecause the poem is kind of saying about how we shouldn't money need to be happy but the last verse is contradicting that. Its a truth we're aware of but don't like admitting.

yeah, that's make sense. but for me, there's nothing wrong if we need some more money since nothing's free in this world, the wrong thing is if we live for money cause money isn't the most important thing in the world...
