the windows the soul
cover the face
make you a disgrace?
Or they add to the structure
of the bones
the cheeks
to the eyes
adding an element
of mystery
maybe a surprise
Nerd.
Sophisticated.
Hidden.
Intelligent.
You'd think I'd be
able to figure it out
considering
what's on my face.
