Going Home

No picture since I don't particularly like the idea of posting a picture of my house on here. Any other wouldn't be right. 


Ready to go home 
not because
I'm in a bad place
I just need the break
to sink back in to the
arms of family
in to routine
which now seems
like such a luxury,
back to the places
and faces
I know so well,
back to home. 

Erosion Insults

Knocked back
with insults
wearing away
as a river
does a to rock.


Then picked back up
laugh it off
insist its a joke
no harm done


but


part of me
just a small,
small part
falls away. 

Fleeting Youth

Feeling of youth
is fleeting
Soon to be greedily
consumed
by years.
Fears
not so much of grey
or wrinkles
but of slowly
breaking down.


Don't think of this
until you see,
barely,
living proof.
