University

Future glowing
knowing
there's a place for me
maybe not quite destiny
but so, so happy
the fact I now deserve
to go
and learn at university.

Secure in knowledge
did my best
going along for the ride
with all the rest
ready
set
go.

The Darkness of Worry

Exam results tomorrow which determine whether or not I get in to uni o.o
I feel sick.

No words
just darkness.
No sound
just worry.
I am stuck
drowning.


Worst of all
I am stuck 
on my own
trying to get out
of my tortured world. 

Results

Guess who got January exam results today . . . 

Future crushing down
at simple letters
on a page
no rage
just fear
and tears.


Hope is there
but you can't see it yet
hidden by the overwhelming
sense of failure 


The time to try again
will come soon
but at this moment
the here and now
is all there is.
