This poem is response to Rebecca Black and Jenna Rose. Its songs like this that really make miss John Lennon and the 60s era in general. And I wasn't even alive then -.-

Let talent get the spotlight
not the looks
or money
or the product.
Let soul shine through
set loose
admiration
inspiration.


Spread a deserving message
your beliefs 
not an image.
Sing 
don't auto tune,
Eat,
don't diet 
Act,
don't pout.


Please, please, please

Trying to Write Free Style

The picture is a chewing gum artist, it might be kind of gross or weird to some people but I really love the idea of it. I thought it kind of fitted in with what I was trying to say in this poem. 

I wish that when I talk
the words flow
easily
rhyming
timing
simple as a
click,
click
quick
perfection.


Rapping
lyrics
meaning grasped
with ease
passion clear
in the tone
the pauses


On the streets
feel the beat
of the people
hearts
together
separate 


Lets talk
walk
find art in life
and soul
in each other. 

Passion

Passion for art

can consume

life

so says the Seagull

and the Black Swan.

If one person

can feel so much

for creativity

is there anything left

for other people?

Or are passion

and love 

different?

Like the difference

between love

and lust.

Why don't we all

just get

fucking consumed

by passion,

love,

lust

in life.
